I don't hate it but i certainly wouldn't buy or wear it.
Definitely don't like the spider web dial effect.
If you can read this you are too close to your computer screen....

Expanding on my earlier post, it's great that CWL are trying something different and more high-concept, but to make it work, I think some tweaking needs to be done to the design.

I think there's potential, but too many things are just a bit off:

1.the brand label "sticker" on the dial,
2. spider-web on dial,
3.Roman numerals for the hour window (it's already an unfamiliar way of displaying time; why complicate it even more by making people read the hour in Roman numerals!?).

interesting concept, just can't get over how the CWL logo doesn't blend well with the spider web design.

Crikey, looks like this is taking a bit of a pasting so far! I agree with Downer on this, I think it is a very exciting move for CW and I think I mentioned this after it was unveiled in the forum chat. It will be interesting to see how the design side moves forward (roman vs arabic, spider vs plain etc.) but on the whole, I can see this appealing to a different type of buyer and opening up CW to a different type of market. (I may be entirely wrong of course.........)

I must be one of the only ones that actually likes this model. The only thing I don't like is how the brand label clashes with the dial. There needs to be a more seamless integration there.

I don't know if I'd spend the kind of money it would take to purchase it, but at least it's an interesting watch.

I'm also a little surprised at the pasting this has got. I don't mind the concept, and am pleased how CWL are aiming high. I wouldn't buy one myself, but still think it's a good-looking and interesting piece (given a few tweaks here and there).

Can we do this with a red face?
:-p

I dont get this watch. With no second hand there is no visable sign of life.
The logo integration is not great. This watch needs to be timeless and not a fashion piece.
Ditch the roman numerals.
Maybe if the escapement wheel was visable from the watch face or something it woild be nicer. As it stands it would be like staring at a sundial, you know its telling the time but there is no visable sign of it doing so (this matters to me in an automatic). 70% there as a design i think.
