Re: C9 Jump Hour
While I wouldn't buy the jump hour at any price, I don't see a problem with lusting after CWs at a thousand plus. The C700 is getting on that way and I really like that.

Re: C9 Jump Hour
Has anyone on the forum, besides me, ordered the C9 Jump Hour?
My little birdie tells me the first group is due next week!
I am also told they are selling quite well for a watch in this price range.

Re: C9 Jump Hour
Was it not Village who solved this problem by wearing two watches ? - one on each wrist.

Re: C9 Jump Hour
I agree, we are terrible! Of all the problems we could have, I count myself lucky that this is one of them and will say no more on the subject.Kip wrote:Same problem here. Hopefully, the Police in Geneva will help our friend Jascee out there and return his watches! Take care guys

Re: C9 Jump Hour
Sorry, but I don't get this watch at all. May be it is for the die-hard, hard-core, watch affectionados. For me less hands/needles means less interest.
What is it with the price? Is CW pushing the limits using this one to test the water to see if CW's can be sold for 4 digit figures like the more traditionally established brands (with higher costs)? As I said before, I am no expert. May be there is a geniune cost related reason that has lead to this much higher than usual price for a CW?

Re: C9 Jump Hour
I think your disease has to be quite far advanced to love the jump hour. At least that is what I'm telling myself. This is one watch that I am actually glad is humongous because the mechanism is (to me) so cool that I would just have to have one. Fortunately its way too big.

Re: C9 Jump Hour
With you all the way on this one. Personally, not a fan of it at all and it's one party piece is obscured by the minute hand during it's one "trick". Don't suppose there was any other way of doing it but still naff.dj7 wrote:Sorry, but I don't get this watch at all. May be it is for the die-hard, hard-core, watch affectionados. Re: C9 Jump Hour
There is something about the oldschoolness of jump hours that intrigues me - very much.
I got super lucky and found an all original Vulcain jump hour on suede...I can spin the crown for hours and never seem to get board watching the hour 'jump'.
