Re: C8 Vintage
Great except it has the same old problem, black edged hands on a black dial, pointless. This just makes the hands look thinner. The MK1 was the same. It is what stopped me buying a black MK1 to go with my cream faced one. What a wasted opportunity.
Why not have completely white hands to give that 'instrument dial' look a la Bell & Ross.
Thank God CW has finally taken note of many comments and used a white on black date wheel, although the colour of he numbers on the date wheel should match the colour used on the dial, as it appears to be different (white as opposed to a creamy colour).
Hands without black edges and I'm in!

Re: C8 Vintage
Sweet. Loving the vintage off white color of the numbers. Especially like the black date wheel - big improvement. Have an issue with the black second hand, it needs to be off white like the hour and minute hands, otherwise its pretty much invisible.
I really don't have an issue with black edged hands, my IWC pilot chrono has the same. The Mk II hands are thick and stand out nicely. I also prefer black edged hands to the typical blue edged hands on other pilots.
Its a much better looking pilot than the Steinhart vintage for example.

Re: C8 Vintage
That is simply stunning. Very much in the same vein as the Bell & Ross Heritage range. Love it. When are these expected to be released?

Re: C8 Vintage
I have no problem with the hands, although the second hand does look a little 'invisible'. I'll be interested to see the lume performance of this compared with the regular white on black MkII.
Overall, it's a great watch, but I'm not sure it is sufficiently different to warrant buying another one. But, real pictures will probably change my mind.

Been considering a C8 for a while now and this could be the one. Will be interested to see some real pictures

Re: C8 Vintage
Hmmmm. Something about it
Doesn't jump out and grab me by the throat shouting buy me buy me.
Maybe my expectations were too high?, I really wanted to like a 'vintage' C8.
Maybe it'll grow on me? Maybe I need to wait and see some real world photos?

Re: C8 Vintage
Like that a lot, very clean and I do prefer the strap without rivets.

agreed on the datewheel, if only the date window did not have the silver surround, totally out of keeping with the overall look...rcherryuk wrote:OMG WTF Halleluljah!!!!

Re: C8 Vintage
I think that looks great, I think the strap alone looks rather striking. I just wish it was 40-42mm. I agree with the above comment about the outline on the hands, it would look way better if it was the whole hand, its the same with my C5 in certain light it doesn't stand out as much as I'd want it to especially for a so called aviator.

Re: C8 Vintage
Datewheel....hurray!
Black edged hands....hmmm...they do make the hands look thinner but it could be the rendering...i would want to see it in the steel.
Second hand....bit invisible? Again, might be the rendering etc etc etc
Promising though
