I guess we may be edging £850 for this offering. Will be interesting to see that if this is the case, how many of them shift.
I for one would be disappointed with such a high price point

Yes, me to.

Because at that price point, you can get (for example) a nice Hamilton, with a Valjoux 7750, or a Oris F1, maybe even a
Oris Artelier Date.

So i hope the price wil be lower. If thats the case .. that watch could be a best seller.

Not in the least, mainly because said car was owned by yours truly.

Well, this seems to be a step in the right direction for the CW brand. This appears to compete directly with Oris and Hamilton, probably at Tissot (or less than Tissot) prices.

I know you can't please all the people all the time, but it still looks a bit 'safe' for me. Some of the Hamilton Jazzmaster or Khaki automatics seem to add that little bit of unique-ness that the C700 seems to be lacking. I can't put my finger on what it is, it just looks a bit 'vanilla' and/or safe to my eyes. It doesn't need colour I don't think, just something else to give it a jaw dropping moment.

I'm excited that the brand is heading off and doing ANOTHER unique design in it's own range, but it's just not unique/special enough for me I'm afraid.

But I colour is the LAST thing it needs - it's almost stealthy being so monochrome and quietly spoken.

I really like the look of this, especially around the subdials (although I'm not sure i like the clashing subdials). It would be interesting if they gave it a titanium case to stick with the light, but strong, materials theme.

I also suspect I'll be admiring this from afar, not from lack of desire, but from lack of funds.

I like the running seconds subdial and I'm not worried about any lack of colour.
The screws on the buckle? What do they do? Faux? I like that the buckle is signed.
What is the strap made of? Nice textured pattern.
Worried about that bezel after seeing a few dings on the C70s.
Like the pushers.
Is the dial carbon fibre or carbon fibre look? I'm used to more of a zig-zag pattern... pic belongs to RAW-motorsport...

Price?
I'll withdraw my reservation about the bezel - I saw a C70 in real life today and realise that the worst wear is on the black parts of the bezel - revealing bare metal - if it's bare metal in the first place then it's hardly a problem.

I think if the bezel is made of sufficiently high grade surgical steel there will be no problem with marking in normal use.

I like this watch. I think it is possibly a watch that in years to come we will regard as a step change!

I think it looks great as it is and wasn't too bothered about the idea of a "splash of colour" etc. Having said that, though, I also like the mock up with the red second hand! :)
