Re: 2011 new model update
I'm not sure when this picture went up on the CW website but it looks just GREAT! Of course it must be automatic (I know, I know. I'm a broken record.) But it really has a nice look, from what we can see. I hope we get some pics and specs soon.

Agreed. I wonder what the watches will look like, though.cholmes wrote:I'm not sure when this picture went up on the CW website but it looks just GREAT!
I seem to recall Chris saying that the ladies' range is all quartz. I hope that's not the case but it wouldn't surprise me if it is.Of course it must be automatic
:Insert smiley of asqwerth raging at the lack of autos:

Nice looking bracelet too! Surprised there isnt a poll on autos in women's range. Where is the Laird when you need him!

I think we've found the level.Mortis wrote:Agreed. I wonder what the watches will look like, though.cholmes wrote:I'm not sure when this picture went up on the CW website but it looks just GREAT!
I think this is an example of what Morris would like to see in a women's watch advert...
I understand there may, or may not, be a watch somewhere in there

Ha! Well he'd be better at setting one up than I would, since half the time I can't even post a comment when I'm trying to.
I was just looking for my old email correspondence with Mr. Ward from last winter where he asked what I'd like in a watch. I can't find the emails but I do know that Automatic or at least wind up was my most important criteria and that he definitely got that.
On this watch, very nice lugs, a supercool shaped face, and great looking bracelet but if its a quartz it just doesn't do it for me.

Why not start a thread asking for this and we can all plus one it. I've got quartz and auto, but get most pleasure from the autos. Get all the ladies to comment tho as guys comments might carry less weight on this one! Good luck.cholmes wrote:Ha! Re: 2011 new model update
If you zoom in on the watch it has a seconds dial at 6 - like the old C1. The watch looks a bit chunky for a women's watch though.

But, I'll give the guy credit, he took a break and came back with a good one, so maybe there's hope after all.

Re: 2011 new model update
I emailed him around the same time and said the same thing. In essence, I told him that I wanted automatic watches from CWL as I could buy ladies' quartz watches anywhere.cholmes wrote: .....

I also said I loved the Trident Pro but 42mm was too big. He asked if I would like a 36mm version, and I said YES!!!
Sigh. I'm really hoping.
Agreed.cholmes wrote: On this watch, very nice lugs, a supercool shaped face, and great looking bracelet but if its a quartz it just doesn't do it for me.
