These are the ones that I think most were waiting for.....

Re: C60 Trident update
I think the phrase is 'sex wee'.
Not sure what it means, but I think it's appropriate.
Can't wait to read the debate about colours/options, etc…
My two penn'orth? I wanted a GMT… Think I prefer the straight auto in terms of colour…
When will we learn about the finalised specs/price, etc? I'm guessing that this is now a 2011 purchase? (Note the useage of the word 'purchase' and not 'release'. )
I see that you have covered my queries elsewhere – good job, and - as ever - thanks Kip

Re: C60 Trident update
Well, I hate Pepsi Cola bezels…
Would have liked to have seen a different bracelet than the standard CW seen here, so I could probably twist my own arm into buying the leather strap GMT… The stitching works with the orange, tbh. (I bet some clever bugger sources an absolute gem of a strap to go with it, though.) Otherwise, not sure about the orange without the stitching…
Still prefer the straight autos, though… I dunno. Then you could argue that the autos are not dissimilar enough to a lot of other watches out there.
Sod it, I need more money. I'm thinking that I could come up with a cunning plan to grow extra arms in a lab and graft them onto people.
I'd be quids in and I could buy whatever I liked.
Right, I am going to the pub to beat myself up a bit about these images.

Wow - really like the look of the auto on the black leather - is it leather or will they make one of those lovely rubber-looks-like-leather straps like the one on the rather handsome Omega Planet Ocean…?

Re: C60 Trident update
Just sold a Steinhart Ocean GMT purely and simply because of the Pepsi dial!
I'm having some of that Black/Orange GMT though! I'd prefer a bracelet but not if it's the same design. Any news on the bracelet Kip?

Sorry...I have no news on any bracelet changes. I'll keep asking.bigvic wrote:Just sold a Steinhart Ocean GMT purely and simply because of the Pepsi dial!

Re: C60 Trident update
The GMT with the orange batons looks the business to me. I hope that's not the same bracelet that I have on my C6 because it's dreadful; lets a fantastic watch down.

Phew! My wallet is safe.
Those are much worse than the originals, especially the confused GMT - black bezel, orange spots, green hands?!

Re: C60 Trident update
I am talking myself in and out of them, tbh...
Not liking the Pepsi (personal opinion, I know).
Nonplussed by the bracelet – seems a missed trick to me.
Leather strap with orange stitching seems the best to me, but I just know that (as I said) it'd be buying something knowing that a strap replacement would be in the offing…
And you're right; the lumed hands against the orange look odd in those images (though they aren't final, obviously).
And then there's the 'onion' itself…
Going to need to see proper pictures of these… Unfortunately, the CW website won't be the best place to see them in the flesh…
Will have to wait for Highway61 to buy one and take some photos.

Unfortunately I agree with you Mortis. I think they're a mess. This WAS the one watch that I really wanted from this year's line up, but now, not in the slightestMortis wrote: Phew! My wallet is safe.

Im not so sure that playing it "safe" by going for the black and pepsi bezels was the right thing to do. If there's ever a teal (or orange even) bezel then I'd probably be in. But as Mortis says, black bezel, orange markers, and green hands... really? (i can't re-iterate the ":(" bit enough).
I am still keen to see what the final product looks like, but based on those, I wont be preordering. Sorry
Re: C60 Trident update
I wanted the green one
I may have to look at the Zenton M45 2000m Diver.....
Have a nice day!

Re: C60 Trident update
thanks for the mention of the Zenton, that is some package included with the watch! Not sure about the biannual servicing though! (nearly as bad as an Evo in the car world!!)
