*Sad face* Even losing the orange bezel, I still think the dial works better here…

I agree with you, the combination of hands and markers looks much better that way.

Weird, isn't it? It just looks better, doesn't it? Just a better balance all 'round.

Bah – what do we know, eh?

Do we know something ? :löl:

And yes, the balance between white hands and white round markers is much better than all markers painted orange.

when i saw this version there was absolutley no doubt in my mind i wanted the watch, i think it visually it looks better than all current alternatives i've seen and i've used many forums to view potential brands, such as shame as i personally think the latest version is very non descript, but you cant please everybody........

I'm saving my judgement, and wallet, untill I see a few photos and not just mockups.

I'm pretty sure though we'll all get one eventually. We always do!

you could be right and it does sound like i've thrown my toys out of the pram, but i'm a simple, shallow soul & sometimes its more about how it looks than whats inside - dont tell my misses!!!!!

I am with those reserving judgement until we can see the real thing...however, the problem for this watch is that there are so many alternatives, well made both inside and out, that the competition is FIERCE, possibly the most competitive section of the watch market

Yup, my judgement is well and truly reserved. However, is my mind/memory deceiving me when I recall the 8th September as the date the new catalogue is released?

We should know a bit more a little before then, I guess.

And if the date window was round it would look even more symmetrical!

For what its worth I am not convinced by the onion hands but thought the original orange bezel design worked well overall. However unlike many contributors I also like the pepsi bezel, though its not as unique.

Definitely, given all the other round markers this would fit very well.

i'M IN LOVE

Chris put a lot of effort on the new models so I think the least we can do is give him a reverence.
