Re: C600 Black Dial alternate photos
Any improvement on the legibility of the bezel is good...but not with a serrated bezel...just doesn't look right with this watch.
Most important though,CW have to sort out a decent bracelet with divers extension.

Re: C600 Black Dial alternate photos
I guess I prefer #'s 5 and 6 giving 6 a small edge for the chrome serrations. I really like that.
For SS going with 2S and 4S.
I selected these mainly for the improved legibility.

and so 2S, 4S and 5S fit the bill.
But that still wouldn't make me buy it (yet).

Yes, for me the requirement would be better contrast - and hence legibility - on the numbers on the bezel.
Re: C600 Black Dial alternate photos
Oddly enough I don't remember reading a single comment about the legibility on the C6's bezel!

Re: C600 Black Dial alternate photos
Because the C6 (and C60) have contrasting marks on them between the minute readings - and extra marks for the first 15 minutes.

True, true... but the numbers are still the same colour as the bezel.Mortis wrote:Because the C6 (and C60) have contrasting marks on them between the minute readings - and extra marks for the first 15 minutes.

Re: C600 Black Dial alternate photos
Yeah, fair point. I suspect these are worn more for fashion or the looks than diving (nothing wrong with that!) and we know of at least one forum member who does use his C600 for submersible purposes so I guess the criticism of legibility is for aesthetic purposes only.

Re: C600 Black Dial alternate photos
I like it just the way it is as it looks neat and tidy!
However, I can see the need for a SS case version and in that case I think S2 is best.
Most Divers don't seem to have lumed bezels (however my Ball does) apart from the initial dot or triangle and this is usually all you can see unless you shine your torch onto your watch. The C6's bezel suffers in the same way and those markings up to 15 are pointless in real life but people seem to prefer it. This leads me to think that all this bezel talk is really for aesthetic reasons and not really about usability in my mind
In reality the Dive Watch is just used as back up to a Dive computer and these have back lights. I only really look at my watch back on the surface as a double check to the time showing on my Dive computer.
Good to see CW continues to listen

3S is the one I would seriously consider for purchase.

Re: C600 Black Dial alternate photos
Hmmm - made me think... and I suspect that I maybe wouldn't buy a C600, no-matter-what. Even though some of these mock-ups appeal more than others, neither the original nor any of these have made me consider typing C-6-0-0 into my wish-list. It just doesn't "do it" for me; I'd like a tritium tube watch, I like divers, the price is good, I like the hand design, it's a good looking design overall - but - nopaw3001 wrote:What would make you push the button out of interest?Loddonite wrote: But that still wouldn't make me buy it (yet).

Re: C600 Black Dial alternate photos
As this watch is supposed to be a serious diving watch, the most important feature should be the legibility of the face and numbers on the bezel. I to my mind I would like to see the S7 with white numbers, luminous if possible.

Can this watch not have a Day plus Date window ?
(like the #2s, and #4s designs)
