C Ward magazine Sept issue: new model/s sneak preview

Post by crothers »

Cat's out of the bag elsewhere on this forum in regard to at least one new model. The new magazine should be available via the site on 9/1. Check out the "View Online Magazine" link.

But there aren't enough chronos. CW only has the C3 Chrono, the C9 Single Pusher, the C7 Rapide MK II, the C7 Rapide MK II - v390, C7 Rapide Ltd Ed, C7 Bluebird, C70 BRG, C70 D-Type, C70 GPs, C7- VW4, C70 3527, C700 Grande Rapide, C1000 Typhoon FGR4, and C1000 Typhoon FGR4 RAF. No choices at all !

I actually really like chrono divers. It's ideal to know exactly how long you have been underwater when free diving or if your dive computer suffers a (very rare) failure. But I admit to being chrono-obsessed.

The look of CW's new white dial C7 Rapide Chronograph looks great to me. Here's to hoping they put a Valjoux 7750 (or even a Sellita 500) in one soon.

Hopefully they will stick to the current Trident lineup and produce several variations of the chronograph. ie a quartz, a sellita 500 or 7750 and a variation of the SH21 all at varying prices and colour schemes. ;-)

You missed the C900.:D

Although the only mechanical chronographs under the £1000 mark are the C1000 models so if your not in to pilot style watches you have no options.

The C900 designation has recently been changed to a C9. The change has been made to the model numbers to add in sizes and provide some consistency.
