C8 MKII
A cleaner dial for the C8..... the dial has just been simplified taking it back to more like the original pilots watches in the late thirties…just simple no fuss.

Re: C8 MKII
Yep...like it ,but then i like the C8 anyway.
Is it different enough to make it worthwhile putting it up against the 'Mark 1'?.....will the 'Mark 1' be retired?
Either way i think this is a nice watch.

Re: C8 MKII
Like this a lot, especially the black dial. Nice and clean.
May have to consider selling my C8IPK.... to get one of these.

Re: C8 MKII
Real blued hands or painted? Hopefully real. While somewhat standard, this is a good looking watch.

Re: C8 MKII
It's truer to an original pilot watch, the Navigator watches were the ones with 24 hr dials etc.

Re: C8 MKII
Wondered if they might do this, though I do like the C8 as it is.
One issue CW must sort out with it, though: the spec says anti-reflective coating, but it simply isn't there. I've never been really happy with mine as a result.
A printed dial MUST have a proper A/R coating, better still with very slightly convex glass. It would give the C8 a depth it hasn't currently got.

Re: C8 MKII
This is fab., got rid of the 24 hour 'ring' which unbalanced the face of the mark 1. I want one, NOW!
Re: C8 MKII
I like it. Hopefully the hands will be flamed blue. Also how about having the see thru window on the caseback slightly larger. Finally what about leaving out the date window.

No, I need a date on my watch, in fact I'm away to get rid of all those that don't have one!
Cheers,

I think the C8 has AR coating on the outside only.MorrisOx wrote:Wondered if they might do this, though I do like the C8 as it is.

Re: C8 MKII
I liked the original and i like this better. Just too big for me to bother with it. Having said that, I might just try on a 44 to see how it looks/feels on the wrist next time I see one somewhere...just in case i decide i could live with it, because I'd like to! it's a great version of a classic style.
Re: C8 MKII
I'm wondering if we're gonna see a clear out of the original C8's (and perhaps the C6's & C7's too) tonight at about 4:30?
