Re: C8 Regulator
Just to correct an earlier post of mine in which I referred to the C10 Aviator.
Having reread the transcript of 'Chat with Chris' and as the title of this thread suggests the Regulator is in a "modified C8 case"; not C10 as I alluded to before.
Cost by the way quoted from Chris is; "just shy or around 1000GBP".
I'm torn between this and the C1000 Typhoon as one to buy. If I get the Typhoon I'd probably sell my C40 Speedhawk (due to similarities in size, movement etc.) but the Regulator is unique (in the CWL range at least).

A hat trick. The third new model and the third one I won't be buying. None of them speak to my soul!

Re: C8 Regulator
This is a bit of a mix and match watch for me. Like the regulator/singulator watches(almost bought a Meistersinger version )
Im not sure aout the steel case version, i prefer the pvd but it reminds me of the IWC Top Gun Miramar using the old radium lume colour.

Re: C8 Regulator
I really like this watch, having recently fallen for the C8 series. Indeed, I've already reserved one, but have kept my options open re steel or pvd until I see some proper photos of them.
The only concern will be if they are considerably thicker than the normal C8s, as the slimness of the C8 is they key reason why it fits my weedy wrists!

Re: C8 Regulator
Lots of nice new releases but I am not of fan of single hand watches, so this one is not for me.

Re: C8 Regulator
I was kind of hoping this release would be a true single hander, a la Meistersinger No.01.

Re: C8 Regulator
Now there's an idea...although perhaps it would be too similar to the C9 jumping hour series...maybe something like the Schauer Einzeiger instead...teestech wrote:I was kind of hoping this release would be a true single hander, a la Meistersinger No.01.
