Looks a bit like a maratac... But I'm not 100 % as we haven't seen a real strap yet.

They are different sizes though. The C1000 has 20mm lugs, whereas the C8 has 22mm.Matt_S wrote:The nylon strap on this would look excellent on my C8 Blackhawk, I'm thinking!

Never mind, I've just found this! Looks like the one IWC use on their Top Gun watch, so should look great with the PVD finish on the Blackhawk! Can't complain at £14 inc P&P either!welshlad wrote:They are different sizes though. It's arrived! Looks good to me!
Next job, I'm going to get my kit out and swap the datewheel over to a white on black background.

Re: C1000 Typhoon
Personally, I would prefer it in tactical grey. Two different shades for the case and the face. The Typhoon (as with all fighter aircraft) use different shades of grey. I think it would be stunning in a tactical scheme.

that could look very good - sounds strange, but I saw a 'stealth' barge on the Thames yesterday - it looked fab - lots of different shades of blended grey - name was darker grey on just lighter grey etc. - could work well...

Re: C1000 Typhoon
I see that the C1000 is out for pre-order now. Just noticed it on the NEW RELEASES page of the website. No fanfare, no mention on the homepage? A bit of a "stealthy" release I suppose.
It's lovely, but I'm still waiting for the tactical grey version.

I stumbled across this too, late last night which was a nice surprise! It really is lovely, and I love the font used for the numbers, it overall looks like a (welcome) modern twist on the normal aviator/flieger style. I also hope they also sell the straps separately, as the mesh/fabric strap is quite a beauty too.
