Looks a bit like a maratac... But I'm not 100 % as we haven't seen a real strap yet.

They are different sizes though. The C1000 has 20mm lugs, whereas the C8 has 22mm. :(

Never mind, I've just found this! Looks like the one IWC use on their Top Gun watch, so should look great with the PVD finish on the Blackhawk! Can't complain at £14 inc P&P either!

Personally, I would prefer it in tactical grey. Two different shades for the case and the face. The Typhoon (as with all fighter aircraft) use different shades of grey. I think it would be stunning in a tactical scheme.

welcome :D

that could look very good - sounds strange, but I saw a 'stealth' barge on the Thames yesterday - it looked fab - lots of different shades of blended grey - name was darker grey on just lighter grey etc. - could work well...

I see that the C1000 is out for pre-order now. Just noticed it on the NEW RELEASES page of the website. No fanfare, no mention on the homepage? A bit of a "stealthy" release I suppose.

It's lovely, but I'm still waiting for the tactical grey version. :D

I stumbled across this too, late last night which was a nice surprise! It really is lovely, and I love the font used for the numbers, it overall looks like a (welcome) modern twist on the normal aviator/flieger style. :D Here's the link:

I also hope they also sell the straps separately, as the mesh/fabric strap is quite a beauty too.
