Re: C11 Makaira Elite Titanium
Well there you have it. Face up overnight, my C11 Makaira Elite Titanium COSC is now after 6 days, +/- zero seconds.
Which i think is with in spec. I can find no fault with it, the inner bezel is positioned correctly, all is good. In to the box later. Now i have to choose a watch to wear this evening as i am out for food.
I still don't want to take it off, a beautiful watch, feels good, looks good, and keeps time. What more could i ask for
To Chris and the team

I went through same thing. Finally switched it for my blue scooter then back to the Makaira yesterday. Might save me some money - but I doubt it!

Mine going back, again.
It looks like either a small mark has appeared on the face. A colleague looked at it and said it looks like there is a clip that is hidden under the face has now rested on top making it visible. Hmmmm, we shall see.

Re: C11 Makaira Elite Titanium
Got it back today, took about 10 days.
Water had entered the case, so it has been cleaned and a new gasket fitted.
Other than washing my hands it has not been under water so surprising.

Do you now have that feeling of "Everyones going to think I left the crown loose" even though you know you didn't but from now are even more paranoid and check the crown is tight constantly? Because I have no idea what so ever of how that feels, honest.

The Elite was handed back to CW a month ago as the bezel was loose. It has arrived back today.mabotham wrote:Got it back today, took about 10 days.

Bit miffed it came in a well used box, it's not my fault that it was faulty so a bit more effort there would have been appreciated.
The clicks on the bezel are not razor sharp precise but it is a lot tighter turning it.
Will now check the time over the next week to make sure it's keeping well.
Glad to have it back.

feel for you. Mines been faultless and pretty much an everyday wear since CW replaced it - I guess I have forgotten and forgiven the failure.mabotham wrote:

Re: C11 Makaira Elite Titanium
It's still a firm favourite. Been wearing the 09 fle for the last month so it has been nice to get some wear out of that beauty.
Just hope it's accurate.

Re: C11 Makaira Elite Titanium
Hi All,
Just come across the brand (amazing as I live in Windsor so just up the road). Has anyone got a picture of this on a black and yellow strap as I can imagine this looks great.
Many thanks
Steve

C11 Makaira Elite Titanium
Your wish..........
Not a great pic but it's a great watch. This is a maratac with yellow stitching. It's the only watch I have with me so extended test of timekeeping. Minus 7 seconds in 8 days.
New pic, minus foot!

Re: C11 Makaira Elite Titanium
I'm a newcomer to Christopher Ward having been introduced to them by a friend. There are now a few of them on my wish list but none more so than this one.
Will this watch only be available with a rubber strap? It is a great looking watch with nice styling touches but I'd prefer a metal strap for longevity?
What would be the colour difference between a stainless steel strap and a titanium case?
