Thought it was about time that I put another SOTC together...the last ones I did were back in 2018
Things have changed quite a bit since then.

That's a great question Patrick (and Des)
...and a tough one to answer!
I like them all and have only had a few for a limited time so it would be difficult to choose just a top 3, however, what I can ascertain is the top most worn watches this year (so far):
  • 14 - BREMONT Jaguar Mk III
  • 13 - BREMONT SOLO-PW-R Special Edition
  • 13 - CHOPARD GPdM
  • 12.75 - ZERO WEST L1
  • 12.25 - ZERO WEST S1
  • 12 - OMEGA PO Bond
  • 11 - PANAREAI
  • 10.75 - CHRISTOPHER WARD C70 DBR1
  • 10 - OMEGA Aqua Terra Bond
  • 9 - LONGINES Legend Diver

Plenty of goodies there Nigel.

Surprised that the Explorer doesn’t feature as one of the most worn.

Interesting story with this one Neil...
So this one was bought brand new from my local AD back in, iirc, 2018.
I hadn't worn it much - why? - probably scared or conscious about scratching or damaging it because of its value but also, at the time, I was finding it a bit small (39mm) for my liking (most watches I have are 40mm+).
Now here's the thing,...
First up I did a PX plus cash my way against another watch with a forum member.
@6 months later we were PX'ing, with the same deal, back the other way.
Then, most recently, I had taken it back to my AD for an evaluation with the intent of selling it to fund a brand new Submariner.
The deal offered was extremely fair and it would have actually worked out that it would have been a straight swap.
Anyway, I tried it on for the last time but the salesmen made a comment about the size being absolutely fine and that may be I should go away, wear it for the weekend/week to be absolutely sure I wanted to do the deal (the deal being on the table as and when I wanted).
So I went away, wore it over the weekend and found that, when push came to shove, I actually couldn't part with it.
I called the AD, spoke to the Salesperson, told him I couldn't part with it (which he was actually very happy about) upon which he promptly added me to the waiting list for a Submariner.
I find that it is, within the whole collection, the perfect watch for best and special occasions (albeit that means it doesn't get worn often).

Ah I remember the swap with Paul.

Did the AD have a new Submariner in stock already, or was it a case of let’s do the trade when one is available?

Neil
That's right  ...and what an absolute Gent

The AD didn't have a Submariner in stock and said that I would have to wait anywhere between 3 months to 3 years before they get one in and available for me (I'm not top of the list).
The deal was that they would sell the Explorer on my behalf, take their (reduced) commission and then issue me with a credit note.
(This would actually mean that the credit note would equate to the cost of a new Submariner).
I was also told that the owner of the AD "tends" to settle his credit notes first (thus a shorter wait of between 3-6 months albeit no guarantee).
However, as I can't bring myself to part with it, this means I'm on the waiting list and will just have to be patient - at least that gives me time to save up for it.

A well rounded collection. Some dressy, some divey, some heavy hitters and some really cool unique finds. Very nice!
