SOTC: EddieTheBeast - December 2020
My current watch collection. I have sold two watches, retained five watches and have four new watches since my SOTC a year ago. I have also made a YouTube video of my collection click here
Divers:
I have three divers a Seiko Turtle 'Blue Lagoon' which was in my collection last year and two new watches.
Seiko Turtle 'Blue Lagoon'
Seiko PADI Turtle
Nodus Trieste
Chronograph:
I still have my Perpetual from last year.
Perpetual Chronograph
Field:
I still have the Alpinist and two new BOLDR field watches.
Seiko SARB017 'Alpinist'
BOLDR Expedition
BOLDR Venture
Aviation:
I still have the Phantom from last year.
Lew & Huey Phantom
Dress:
I also bought a new dress watch this year.
Seiko Cocktail Time 'Skydiving'
Early next year I might sell one of my big Seiko divers and would like to try to get a Christopher Ward back into my collection – who know what the January sales might bring!! I am also looking for a motorsport type of watch to add to my collection.
Please watch the video of my current collection and like, comment and subscribe to my channel if possible!! Thanks for looking. Happy watch hunting for 2021

You seem to have a watch for most purposes there. Rather a nice collection, but there does seem to be one space left in the box!

Great collection Dean, with a generally 'Outdoors' feel to it.
Lovely to see the L&H Phantom still , and I really like the two Boldrs.
The most impressive part? The fabulous Peak District backdrops to some of your photos.
I'll be looking out for your new CW in the New Year.

Thanks. And it’s always good to keep a space in the box for those sudden unexpected purchases!Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: ↑Sat Dec 19, 2020 7:00 pm You seem to have a watch for most purposes there. Rather a nice collection, but there does seem to be one space left in the box!
I’m glad you like my collection and photos
I’m still loving the Phantom, and the BOLDR watches are two really great tough outdoors watches to add to my collection.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sat Dec 19, 2020 8:53 pm Great collection Dean, with a generally 'Outdoors' feel to it.

Interesting and varied collection, with some great outdoor pics.
My favourites are the Alpinist and Turtle.
It was seeing the pics of your Alpinist in your previous SOTC write up that gave me the push to finally pick one up.

A good collection Dean, clearly Seiko is a favoured brand...and why not. I like both the Alpinist and the Cocktail Time (I had the same watch for a while and had some regret when I sold it, the dial is fantastic).

Wow nice to think my Alpinist pics led to you picking one of these amazing watches up!
Yes the dial is definitely amazing, I don't think I've seen a better dress watch and it always makes me feel a million dollars when I wear it! Definitely buy it again!!Thegreyman wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 4:14 pm A good collection Dean, clearly Seiko is a favoured brand...and why not. Lovely collection, Dean. Lots of variety to take pleasure in there. My faves are probably the Alpinist and the Cocktail Time, both Seiko classics.
