Buckstallguy - SOTC August 2020

Post by Buckstallguy »

Hi All

Been admiring the various SOTC posts and thought I'd add mine. Have gone through various phases and bought and sold a fair few but this is the current SOTC

In the winder

Omega Seamaster - Had this one a little while now and is definitely a favourite in the rotation.

Cartier Ronde Solo 42mm - bit of an impulse buy as a dress watch. Great bargain buy

IWC Ingenieur Chrono Racer - most sentimental value; wife bought this one for my 40th

CW C60 GMT Mk1 - recent addition. Had a Mk1 C60 my wife bought for me in 2012; was lost in a burglary so this one is a replacement

In the box

Davidoff Velero Chrono - HUGE impulse buy because of the VAL7750; doesnt get much wrist time but not a bad piece

Longines HydroConquest Chrono - bit of a sucker for a chrono. This doesnt get much wrist time at all

Oris Artelier Chrono - usually wear this one on a tan strap

Hamilton Khaki Field - another impulse buy from a fair few years ago

CW C8 Mk1 Cream

CW C9 Harrison GMT

CW C8 Pilot MkII

CW C5 Malvern Slimline

Getting the urge to flip a few and freshen up the collection again :D

That is a really great collection all round! The standouts for me are the IWC and the Cartier, naturally!

Nice collection! I love the c8 - that was my very first CW and sold it a while back to a fellow forumite. Kind of regret it having seen your pic!

That's an excellent and varied collection.

Loving your IWC and Cartier in particular. The C9 Harrison GMT is a great classic CW too.
