I actually don't wear gold watches so the Smiths are more just collectors pieces, the Seiko however gets worn and in spite of its age is a very modern size. The bracelet is also very comfortable due to it having a little room for movement because of the way its made. It doesn't feel high on the wrist or top heavy like some of the larger Seiko's can. I also have a Citizen Bullhead which is smaller by comparison, far more vintage size.tempusmaximus wrote:^^^I like them , very nice , the Seiko Bullhead is a favourite though .

Would you care to pass an opinion on it?

Also Lanco watches share movement with Tissot and Omega 70s vintage watches ...Darwils are also probably most underrated vintage watches.

Re: Vintage Gallery
Good question Robert, I hadn't picked that up. Interestingly, the seller has two of them for sale, both have the same feature(?) of the lume pots covered by numerals.robert75 wrote:Why are the numerals covering the lume plots?Ian Mc wrote:@sinner777

Re: Vintage Gallery
Probably best to ask the seller to clarify if its a redail/refurbish and specific history of the watch. Any honest seller will be happy to help any dodgy one will be evasive in their answers.
May I ask what interests you in this particular watch?

I guess it is the plain simplicity and clarity of the face that caught my attention.

Re: Vintage Gallery
Hi ian
so sorrry about late response, had trouble with tapatalk. I just took a closer look at listing
Dial upon closer inspection looks like a refurbish. I guess "bombai special" also watch has Ronda handwind movement, that is nowhere near Lancos from 70-ies that shared movements with Tissot/Omega.
already answered through pm. Cheers.

Re: Vintage Gallery
Is that a green bracelet on the Spacview or just the lighting effect?

It seems to work very well with the Spaceview. I have never seen that color in bracelet before that I can recall.
