Mine finally arrived - and I love it. It wasn't my first choice of design, but it really works in the flesh ;)

Slightly concerned that the rotor noise is quite pronounced in some orientations... has anyone else noted this? Nothing is rattling or obviously moving - maybe just a 2824 thing?

Yes I have noticed and on initial wind up too. I didn't realise that the crown did not screw down either, should pay more attention!! It is a grower, and the twin roll is not as bad as I feared, but I will be on the look out for something else to mount it on.

Mal

Yours must be the quickest attempted sale ever! I agree with your comments though, but I of course abstained, this was one of the reasons really, other than at the original price I thought it too expensive.

Ah - 2824 was on one of the early drawings I think. Should have read the instruction manual ;)
