Re: 2013 FLE Progress Report #18
Glad I found this, mine sounds like my £50 Parnis straight out the box. Really coarse. I'll give it a couple of hours on the winder and see if it improvesCirrus wrote:Mine finally arrived - and I love it. It wasn't my first choice of design, but it really works in the flesh
Slightly concerned that the rotor noise is quite pronounced in some orientations... has anyone else noted this? Nothing is rattling or obviously moving - maybe just a 2824 thing?

Mine is still doing it occasionally.... I guess when the spring is at a certain tension. I am not quite sure what to make of it.tmoby wrote:Glad I found this, mine sounds like my £50 Parnis straight out the box. Really coarse. Re: 2013 FLE Progress Report #18
I have noticed a slight rattle when flicking my wrist but then I remember that I don't generally flick my wrist during the course of a day so the rattle becomes less of a concern. One thing I have noticed though is the sound my C10FLE makes when it is on the bedside table. The high beat ticking kept me from sleeping last night such that I had to put it back in the box! Poor thing. I did give it a loving polish before putting it back on this morning.

Hey, perhaps too early, but when do we start discussion of a 2014 FLE...

I have already decided it will be exactly as the 2013, but with a midnight blue to black sunburst dial and silver battons and hands.Keithnagel wrote:Hey, perhaps too early, but when do we start discussion of a 2014 FLE...
No need for a new committee

Very much, but with a radial pattern and a less harsh highlight colourianblyth wrote:Perhaps something like this?Cirrus wrote:I have already decided it will be exactly as the 2013, but with a midnight blue to black sunburst dial and silver battons and hands.Keithnagel wrote:Hey, perhaps too early, but when do we start discussion of a 2014 FLE...

Yes, but remember no rehaut is possible with this C10 case!

Or at least not without moving the dial and movement further back... I would guess something like the 2892 would give you a few extra mm to play withasqwerth wrote:Yes, but remember no rehaut is possible with this C10 case!

Re: 2013 FLE Progress Report #18
The issue with the rehaut would have completely changed the FLE option that is your avatar (which was my choice in the election phase too). So with hindsight the evolution of the current FLE would appear to have been the best outcome.Cirrus wrote:Or at least not without moving the dial and movement further back... Now the mock up above though look great, a sunburst blue/black as suggested would look awesome.
Just wondering if the C61 case would likely be a contender for the next FLE and if so such things as possibility of a rehaut should be clarified upfront.
Looking forward to what the team come up with next!!
