2013 FLE Progress Report #17

Post by Kip »

This is the first report where I will tell you nothing about the progress of the FLE itself. I have nothing new to report from Chris since report #16.

Remember way back to December 2012 when the reservations process was posted? Remember back to April when we were informed that the FLE price had to be increased due to the design and costs? At that time we were offered a discount and free shipping to offset the price increase and a deadline to get the reservations in to secure the lower price. Most of you who have your reservations in, placed your number requests prior to the discount deadline and took advantage of free shipping. Several of you have followed up by placing your reservation since the initial deadline passed. Regardless of when your reservation was placed, you have all been extremely patient through the trials and tribulations of the FLE development.

Chris and the team at CWL have been extremely patient with me considering my constant nagging and they feel very bad that things have gone on so long.

Your patience is to be rewarded!

You need do nothing. Effective now......your 2013 FLE will now cost you £100 less. That is correct...£100 less! As a reward for your patience, whatever your reservation price, it has now been reduced. You have kept the faith and shown remarkable patience.....this is your reward.

Future reservations/orders are not affected and will remain at the current price. Only reservations currently listed with Wera are eligible.

This is Chris's way of saying Thank You for your patience and faith that this watch will come to fruition very soon.

I would like to personally say thank you to everyone for hanging in there and also an extra special thank you to Chris! Mike, Peter and Wera for making this very generous offer to "The Asylum".

It is actions like this, by truly good people, that keep us coming back to CWL.

I will continue to post further reports on the progress of the FLE as more information becomes available.

Woo hoo! Thank you very much sir. :god:

Made me smile again after the Newcastle debacle that finished 10 minutes ago.
Cheers,

Kip - that is extremely good news and a wonderful gesture from Chris. I am sure you have already thanked him, but please pass on to him the gratitude of those of us who will benefit from this. Thanks to you too for your continued patience, driving this along. It will make the moment when I hold it in my hand even sweeter.
