Why?

Chris does these as a favour to the Forum, this year he's been a bit snowed under, and it's running behind.

Is this a problem?
Is it a Limited Edition at additional cost, so should talke priority over other production?
No, it's a Limited addition at a discount, so FFS, give the guy a break!

Do you think that moaning and bitching will speed it/him up?
Are you that important that he should stop making a living just to service your wishes?

Rant over.

I can understand the frustrations.

This years' appears to have been more problematic on the production side.
I think next years' will/should be more structured from CW's side & perhaps this will lead to it less delays.

I know all are not currently sold out - not saying they won't end up this way; but looking at the other LE's [well most of them] the demand is clearly there..... (Says he with the fle '09 in his watch box :D ) so what has been different with this one?

I don't see any moaning and bitching. I see someone expressing a point of view.

Good grief Rob. Where's the moaning etc.... I just see Robin making an observation.

Whilst my reply was to Robin's post it was not directed entirely at him.

I'm just tired of hearing the same comments, especially the snidely little ones about how badly organised it's all been, every year it's the same, and then, when the FLE is released it's an anticlimax.
And the moaners? Are they happy with what has been delivered? No, they start dissecting the process, telling all that 'if we'd listened to them etc etc', and then saying 'hurry up, where's the next one'

Personally, I have other things in my life that are more important, so, when it's ready, I'll buy it, but only if it matches the original vision, if not, cest la vie!

Actually think this year has been organized pretty much in exemplary fashion. Looks like there may have been some manufacturing issues , but that is always a possibility.

I'm still excited about this years watch, yes it's taken a while but all this has meant we have the chance to get a watch that will have a unique look and feel to it which is worth the wait. Infact I would even be happy for this years flec to start the process of elimination in the next month or so.

If this years FLE has been a headache for Chris et al I rather suspect he will want a bit of a break from it all ;)

An irony that strikes me is that as this watch inches its way to production, it just might coincide with me being in a position to buy one. Earlier in the year, it was out of the question. I await first pics with keen interest.
