I would just tell them to sod off and buy the watch anyway. It's no business of anyone else what watch you buy.

Tyke,

I am with everyone else, you are forum member of long standing and I think you should be getting onto Wera to 're-order the FLE.

Well I think that is ridiculous.

Any Forum member has the right to place an order for a FLE.

It does not matter if you have voiced concerns and reservations about the development of the model or not. In the end it is your decision and money on whether you wish to buy and as a Forum member your right!

This is a model for the Forum not rabid fanboys (but they are allowed to buy as well!)

Personally, I wouldn't let someone stop me from buying anything just because they were rude and ignorant! In fact it would make want to buy it even more.

So get that order back in if you truly want the watch!

No no, I love the watch actually, it's beautiful. Drawings don't move me as much as pictures in this case and I look forward to seeing the real thing. :)

Tyke, it's your money and a limited edition watch. You won't think about this "problem" in several years when that person has this watch you don't. Criticize whatever you want, it just makes the final product even better! Unsure of detail, either someone missed the order period, or just objects to your purchase. Whatever it is, don't overreact and get your watch!

I was pretty quick as i already had my email typed out awaiting the reservation process. Also it was my 3rd choice number, so if #10 is important to you Robin i would be perfectly happy to swap numbers with you.

Let me know

I received my email from Wera at 0513 on Sunday, but unfortunately both my first and second choice numbers have gone. She's given me some other options, but I've gone with 'dealers choice' on whatever's left. Would have been nice to have got one of my numbers, but it's no deal-breaker.

Receiving a vitriolic e-mail questioning my right to purchase an FLE has resulted in me cancelling my reservation - it's just not worth bothering if my ownership is going to cause that much angst.
Two fingers to the e-mail - get the watch.
