If you can choose between a handound and a automatic, a hand-wound would be my choice.
It would be nice if you can choose which one you would have in a watch.

2013 FLE - Movement Type Poll
Personally I think the C700 is crying out for a limited edition but it won't be us doing it as £450 is no where near enough to allow us to adapt one!
Watches - Too many but not enough!
Re: 2013 FLE - Movement Type Poll
should be in the general discussion thread , too late to worry about the price set, now we're in the movement poll thread!

Re: 2013 FLE - Movement Type Poll
surely the whole point of a LE is that demand should outstrip supply... otherwise, it's not so much a limited edition as just an unusual watch that not many people want.

I rather think that with a very small production run such as the FLE youare going to get one or the other. If it turns out that a HW is feasible we will all get a chance to vote for it...no secret which box I'll be ticking!SillentWolf wrote:If you can choose between a handound and a automatic, a hand-wound would be my choice.

Now here's a thought...we did a bit of second guessing before the polls went live. We weren't sure which way the style poll would go at first but once that was well away we got price and (so far) movement type spot on.
You/we (because the FLEC can vote as forum members) still have the chance to spring a few surprises with the case poll, the HW option if it arises, and of course the design aspects.
But...will we?

I'm still waiting for the poll on which logo we get. That is the thing most likely to influence my purchasing decision.

I voted the first two times but on this point I don't really mind and given the current votes cast it would be irrelevant anyway. Can I vote for "sitting on the fence" please.

Not sure I see a fence sitting option. Just cast your vote!CornishDave wrote:I voted the first two times but on this point I don't really mind and given the current votes cast it would be irrelevant anyway. Can I vote for "sitting on the fence" please.

Re: 2013 FLE - Movement Type Poll
The logo question has been discussed in the FLEC and with CW.
Quite understandably, CW wants the 2013 FLE to use the new logo. Frankly, any other decision would have been a strange one...
So, we will use the new logo, and I think the topic is closed.
