Yes, I know, but it was also more expensive. Just fancied something like that for the LE.robinbarke wrote:The 2011 FLE has a Unitas hand wound movement.Gogs wrote:I've gone for mechanical (like most!) but I'm leaning towards a hand wound movement rather than auto. Re: 2013 FLE - Movement Type Poll
I've voted for mechanical for a couple of reasons:
1. I'm honestly biased towards mechanical than Quartz. I'm sorry!! I love the sweeping second hands and having the beauty of mechanical moments exposed at the case back.
2. I am fine with having no chronos in a sports watch. Too often I find sports watches linked to chronos. I'm looking forward to some great sports designs yet not having chronos. I'm sure with great designs from the team it will get us excited.
3. I'm very open to a hand wound manual mechanical movement.
Of course Quartz has its merits too.

Re: 2013 FLE - Movement Type Poll
I think what everyone is trying to say is that they'd like a simple 2824 auto movement in a c5 case, with Battle Of Britain style hands, blued on the outer edges, blue markers for the hours and a white/ivory dial.
Basically a meld of this:

^^^^^^ Hold on... just realised that that would create a slightly less good version of the C2FLE...

I've also been in with the minorities each time:ddav wrote:Oh well three poles down(almost) and three times in the minority. Anyone here had ALL there choices come out on top?
Poll 1 - Aviator/Military
Poll 2 - Up to GBP 600 / USD 825
Poll 3 - Quartz
I guess the 2013 FLE isn't for me lol!!
Did anyone see this poll going any other way though???
