2013 FLE - Movement Type Poll

Post by paw3001 »

Just to show the fairness of this voting malarky

Poll 1 - Dress
Poll 2 - Up to GBP 600 / USD 825
Poll 3 - Auto

So 33% in line with the majority!

So at least I can't be called a sheep :)
Watches - Too many but not enough!

I have had to stick with quartz, I love autos but would love to see the FLE be a chrono.. a cool sporty chrono!

Don't tell me, Diver, up to 300 GBP, and quartz.
[/q :censored: [-X wanted marine , up to 600 (expecting more) and then voted quartz just to keep the streak going. Think I've covererd all the CW bases, have an Auto / Quartz and Hand Wound.

A 600 GBP quartz marine watch ? That would be a L. E.

I enjoyed taking part in the vote and will do in the final poll for case style, but, just like everything else in life it comes down to personal choice. I may not have any say/imput into the poll results but if I like it enough I may buy it.

I guess that's the same for me, nothing I've voted for has won but I'm still wanting to see how things turn out just to see if it is something I might buy.

I'm hoping for possibly the C7 (Mk I or Mk II) case, housing a nice white face with either orange, British racing green or red accents/details, on a nice NATO or leather strap but I think I could be miles away from what the end result actually is.... Only time will tell!

Considering the quartz vote is only 20% at the moment it would seem unlikely. The C7 is a quartz chrono case and the price poll has ruled out mechanical chronos (and the C7 is too thin for one anyway) and with no quartz option then the quartz chronos are ruled out. If we tried to use the C7 case with a normal auto movement what would we do with the 2 chrono holes?

I thought we could change the internal watch face for a "custom" designed one without the chrono parts??

Ian means the 'pusher' holes in the case.

Ah got yah, I'm not really sure if there would be a way to resolve that, would have to enquire if the case can be ordered without the holes drilled maybe??

Anyway I worry too much, this is the job of the FLEC so I'll leave them to it, I'm still too new to the watch world...
