Really looking forward to this and watching things unfold and come together. About how long does it take before we start to see which direction the watch is going and have a real idea what the final product could look like??

I think it will be a few weeks before we start to see first design proposals. We are trying to take a slightly different approach this time - spending some time in ensuring we have a firm idea of the direction before we start jumping into solutions. This may mean we have to wait to see the first images, but when we get there, the process should be smoother and better targeted.Rookie1986 wrote:Really looking forward to this and watching things unfold and come together. I was thinking the exact same thing. Thank you to the team for all your work!asqwerth wrote:I like the lineup!
I know I'm a minority/niche member here, being female, but with both AVO and Wis in the team, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for a reasonably-sized watch (ie, no more than 39-40mm - old or new C3/C5 case?)
Anyway, good luck and here's wishing the team amazing amounts of creativity, ingenuity, vision and great synergy in this endeavour!
Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

No pressure there then chaps ... you wouldn't want to disappoint a lady, now would you?asqwerth wrote:I like the lineup!

asquerth, the case used is going to be one of the aspects that will be the subject of a poll of forum members, AVO, Wis and I are subject to the will of the membership so I think you (and cholmes) need to start campaigning now.

There is nothing that says you can't campaign. Go for it!

I am very much looking forward to seeing this FLE develop as its the first I will experience since getting into CW watches.. sorry CHR Ward now isn't it. Anyway I will drop in as much helpful input as I can, and heres hoping that everyone and the committee come up with an awesome FLE. Good luck!

Best wishes to all concerned. I hope everyone really enjoys the process and welcomes the outcome whatever their own preferences.

The added time table should give everyone plenty of time to establish a 2013 FLE fund.
