2012 FLE (#1?) Red Final Drawings
Here are the final drawings of the 2012 FLE Red. Note that the red will be the same as the C4SRS.. It comes across abit dark in the drawings.
Due to time constraints and Wera on Holiday. the reservation process will not start for about 2 weeks.

Looks good. And the C4SRS is a cracking colour, so this should be excellent.
Congrats Jag!

Re: 2012 FLE (#1?) Red Final Drawings
I'm liking the red. Not a red red, instead I'm seeing more of a burnt red. Nice.
Will have to run it by the better half.
I showed her the mock up of the red and she said it was horrible, she preferred the blue (that to me is darker then the mock up).
Last thing I really want to hear is "you're not wearing that are you" so we'll see.
Maybe when the women's range is revealed an Xmas gift will smooth the waters and allow compromise

Jag, that looks really good - many congrats. Now the wait begins!
Re: 2012 FLE (#1?) Red Final Drawings
Very nice!
Unfortunately, I actually prefer this darker "red wine" colour in the rendering than the actual red C4 colour, which to me is a bit too bright and tacky.
Not sure how that C4 red will look with the wave dial. Will it really tone down the colour, like JAG hopes?
Decisions, decisions.

Like the watch but do not like it with the immitation croc strap, plain black would be far better to me. Still thats easily changed - Rich, can you do me a black strap with red stitching please!

Re: 2012 FLE (#1?) Red Final Drawings
IIRC wasn't there going to be some leeway on straps with perhaps a choice of stitching on the leather?JAG wrote:C40 strap simple...CornishDave wrote:...plain black would be far better to me. Still thats easily changed ...a black strap with red stitching please!
Maybe not now then, it's just I seem to remember some comments and I can't go back through the old thread(s) ATM.
I think this may be my first diver on leather
Although if I get a bracelet then can always put on leather or nato at later date.

As far as I remember, there was not going to be any leeway on straps, and this was a deliberate choice in order to contain the costs.st-rider wrote:IIRC wasn't there going to be some leeway on straps with perhaps a choice of stitching on the leather?JAG wrote:C40 strap simple...CornishDave wrote:...plain black would be far better to me. In my opinion, these FLE's offer best value on the bracelet, as CW is offering the new bracelet at the old pre-increase price of the C60. This means you save (a) the last price increase and (b) the inevitable price increase for the new, higher quality bracelet.
If you want both bracelet and strap, it's a no-brainer to buy it on the bracelet and then add the strap of your choice at a later date.

Re: 2012 FLE (#1?) Red Final Drawings
I better start saving up all those gold coins and get some browny points so I can get the red on the bracelet, very good job done I must say....very good in deed

This version looks far better than i imagined it would - using the C4SRS as a guide that is - i think it will complement the wavey details perfectly - good stuff!
I miss all the great things that may never be.

Re: 2012 FLE (#1?) Red Final Drawings
Kip, Is the C4SRS the same red as the C4 CF18? If it is, then I can say that it is a very vibrant red that really comes alive in the sunlight.
Nice look at the new bracelet as well.
