They will be ETA 2824 if available..and if not, Sellita SW 200. Chris won't know until actual production starts.
The movements are comparable in most every way.

Please confirm that he is building all 100 with eta or all 100 with selitta if not he is spoiling them as all the limited editions will not be the same. This policy of an equivalent of the same quality really compromises his standing in the watch world in my view. launch a watch with a movement and stick to it!Kip wrote:They will be ETA 2824 if available..and if not, Sellita SW 200. The c40 is. 7750 the c700 is a sw500 and stick to it! If you can't get anymore 7750s then discontinue the c40 and launch another watch but don't compromise the model by changing the movement.
Same with c8 vintage if you can get 2824 movements make em all with them if yo can't launch that model as sw200 only that way no one ends up with one movement when they wanted another!
C6 yellow Kingfisher, C5 black Malvern Aviator Ltd Edition, C70 DBR1, C70 IT, C60 Trident 2012 FLE Scooter, C70 MC, C70 Cunningham

To be fair the C8 Vintage is shown on site as being 26 jewels only and correctly shown as the sellita SW200-1.
There is no mention of ETA 2824. That said I do understand your frustration.
