Don't understand the voting!

Have the voters from last round changed their minds?

Late surge maybe.

We're still 19 votes short from the last vote. Who knows... maybe the Red lovers hold their vote, to try lulling the Blue aficionados into a false sense of security. If all 19 go to the Red, thenj it is still possible that, from the three Wilco votes, two went to the Scooter, one went to the Jag, and everyone else stuck to their original choice.

As people cannot retract / delete their vote then any altered votes will effectively count double as it's not just one away from one, it has to go on the other one, so there could hypothetically be anything up to 10 switched votes as it stands. If the vote count is the same or lower than last time then even a late surge won't be enough.

As the voting numbers are so low & possibly some people voting won't be buying, does the actual production of the FLE require a minimum number of pre-orders or will they just make a set number and hope they sell? If so, is it likely to be 50 or 100?

Don't forget, there may be interested late comers and by the time the production starts it may well be there are new members who will want one.... those involved in designing and voting at this moment aren't the only people on the forum.

I for example joined this mad bunch in the week or so before delivery of the C2FLE; I had no prior knowledge of it or involvement in it's conception or development, but once I had seen it, I wanted one! I was lucky enough to get one too, with a serial No. I wanted to boot.

I placed a bet at the last round but my horse fell at the fence so since I have no intention of buying either of the finalists I did not place another bet. Accounts for one missing vote. :)

Interesting point as last vote included a weekend and this one is midweek. Therefore the demographic may have shifted so not comparing like for like and the electorate is different.

Agreed that hopefully more might join and buy but only if production actually goes ahead, so the question still remains of actual production run quantities and is it dependant on pre-orders? 50 or 75 looks a safer bet than 100 but is it viable at those numbers? It would be a real shame for all those who have taken part if at the end it did'nt happen :(
