As the watch does not differ too far from the original specification it may be something Chris would be willing to do. Its at least worth asking the question as Chris can only say no. If Chris agrees though then everyone should be happy without leaving others disapointed and there will be more chance of selling the full 100 rather than the losing 50 opting out.

Less than 12 hours to go and The Red Jag is making a charge!
Has The scooter got anything left?

The red Jaguar has suddenly had a tyre blow-out! Oh, no!!!
It's skidded off the track in a cloud of smoke!
The mechanics from its pit are rushing over. They've got a spare wheel and are quickly changing it.
Job done! And the red Jaguar's engine is revving wildly and it's bursting back onto the track once more to try and catch up with the racing scooter.
Can it do it???
But wait...
The scooter's engine is making a strange sound!
Could that possibly be the sound of a piston knocking? Will the scooter blow its engine?
There's some ominous smoke coming from its exhaust, but the scooter is pressing on regardless. Just listen to that shriek coming from its exhaust!!!
It's anyone's race at the moment!
The red Jaguar has the power. If only it can catch up? Listen to that exhaust note! Could it be an E-Type Jaguar?
But the modified racing Vespa scooter is pressing on, no matter what!
It's nearly neck and neck!!!
What a race!!!
Till next time...

Why not? Might upset those who have splashed out on the GMT!

I am having to stop myself from watching the poll.
It's a bit like a kettle, watch it and nothing happens, look away and it's ready!
As said earlier, whatever the result IMHO both are worthy of the accolade.
Just waiting for someone to post ending to the classic line...
