2012 FLE candidates

Post by Kip »

I have put together all of the candidates that I believe conform to the qualifications. Please review for anything that I may have missed. I have done my best to be as accurate as possible, but cannot guarantee I have not missed something. If I have I am sorry so please review carefully.

If yours isn't here and you don't know why, please send me the image and I will explain or correct the error or omission.

Anything not currently on the list due to being non conforming may be added, if corrected, and submitted by pm,email or posted on the forum, by the deadline. If you wish to have your submission deleted let me know. Please refer to a submission by number and name for any corrections necessary.

All corrections and any further submissions must be made by end of Saturday June 25.

We have a total of 50 spots available. Based on this list we have 10 remaining. First come.. first on.

As of now this is the master list

My favourites so far are between 13.THE CLARKY#2, 14.THE ROYSTON, 21.THE ST-RIDER and 27.THE RED DOWNER.

I would only change one and add a black leather strap with red stitching on the 27.THE RED DOWNER ;)

2012 FLE candidates

Edit: I figured out how to do it. I'd like to submit this:

Image

====
If I ask pretty pretty please, would one of the photoshop gurus do the following for me:

Take the Footycrazy1 and put on it the aluminum bezel from the JMarchitect2.

I'd like to submit that as an entry, but I have no photoshop skills whatsoever.

Much thanks.

I would post this in the discussion thread. You will have a better chance.

Just a question: is there a difference between the Red Jag and the Red Downer?

Two points...

1.
I know this may be more work but is it possible to arrange a slideshow of the above offerings.
This may help in seeing the differences and similarities.

If hassle then don't bother, it was just an idea in my head.

2.
I don't know if entries are closed, apology if I missed the message.
If not is it possible to see the #30 ITSRXW offering with the orange bezel with white text from #29 the andys?.

If not then no worries.

Thanks to all for the great efforts and input so far.
My shortlist is at 12 so far. Some not easy choices need to be made :D

I'd wait for the voting.
I think this thread is just to check the final choice line-up, not give any preference.

I'm not getting a full set of pictures! Do I need more RAM, a new cache, or is AOL editing out some of the more extreme suggestions? Perhaps a cooler computer and a little more patience?

So many to choose from and all very good it has to be said. Big thanks to the Photoshop experts on here who have clearly worked very hard.

Decisions, decisions...numbers 2, 10, 18 and 34 look fantastic to me, with a special shout out to the Laird #1 (List No. 18).

As with the 2011 FLE (no arguments please), I bow to the skills of the experienced guys on this forum for their efforts! I'm sure another fantastic FLE will come out of this.

When the voting starts will we have more than one vote? If it is 1 people will vote for their own generaly. but if we have say 3 votes a it will give a better overall view of the popular colour scheme. If you know what i mean. First past the post you can end up with a watch that the majority don't want but may have got 3 votes instead of 2. A bit like our government.

It is quite hard to see where one message ends and another begins. I have not produced a design of my own as I have all the artistic sense of a dead cod fish!

You may have seen me expressing admiration for another's design by quoting the picture.

Sorry for any confusion.
