How about a sailcloth type strap? I've enclosed a few photos, one with a blue strap with my blue 40mm C60 (please excuse the background, I just wiped up a messy spill and hadn't realized the surface was still wet before taking the photo). The only white dial watch I have is my 40mm Zelos Mako which is paired with my black sailcloth like strap in the next few pictures. Hopefully this give you an idea of how a sailcloth (black or otherwise) might look on your white dialed C60.

I love the look of that blue sailcloth I think it would go lovely with the ocean blue SC. Do you have a link or name to search for of the strap?

Many thanks

Hi Mike,

I think you're right, it would look great with the ocean blue SC. The strap is from Nodus based in LA here in the USA. The material is TecTuff (https://tectuff.com) and the inside is lined with "rubberized leather." Not exactly sure how you rubberize leather but I can confirm I have taken this strap swimming and it is completely waterproof. Also, it's very comfy right from the start.

The link is https://www.noduswatches.com/straps-pro ... tuff-strap for the navy blue color. In addition to blue and black, it also comes in "Platinum" which is a dark gray. I have all three colors and recommend them highly. Quick release spring bars are used as well.
Best regards,
John

Mike,

I forgot that my Nodus straps only come in 20mm. They do have a slightly different version in 22mm but the underside is actually NBR rubber. The SC will need the 22mm strap if I'm not mistaken.

Here's the link for Nodus's 22mm TecTuff strap in blue: https://www.noduswatches.com/straps-pro ... bber-strap
Best regards,
John

I used to own a white MK2 trident and regularly wore it on casual brown straps. I think my favourite was a Toshi strap but the 43mm MK2 GMT was a hefty beast and suited that style, the more dressy MK2 might not suit that as much.

The brown though would definitely be a thumbs up from me.

Mike, I notice you are in the UK. If you wish a UK supplier of Sailcloth straps I can recommend the Watchgecko quick release range. They are black bit with contrasting stitching

A black with white stitching strap would work great.
Several options out there:

I don’t know that you can go wrong with a grey NATO. I’m a fan. It’s a nice alternative to the standard black NATO.

I think that sailcloth looks really good. I'm not sure if I have a sail cloth strap or not. I bought a set of assorted straps from Watchgecko, and in amongst them is a quite stiff fabricky type thing. Different to a CW hybrid. Might be classed as sailcloth.

Other than that, I second AVOs idea of a Cordovan, but it's expensive to try, and of course you can't take it in water.

With a white face watch, I like to pick up whatever slight colour is also present. My Draken sits on a Barton with orange stitching to pick up the hands.

Barton Straps are stupidly comfy and well priced. Oh and theres a decent range!
