Interesting new strap!
I picked this up today. It’s a 20 mm blue crocodile made in Italy for Dipples, a well-known Norwich jeweller. A little bit stiff at the moment, but it feels super quality and I’m sure it will break in nicely before long. I bought it as a dressy option for my Meistersinger, but I also lined it up against the UN, and I think it will look absolutely fantastic with that one too.
Very interesting colour, it is blue but in some light conditions seems almost violet. I’ll try to get better pictures when the Sun reappears – it’s been pretty grim here today.

Re: Interesting new strap!
It definitely reads toward violet in those pics, and that’s not a bad thing. Lovely strap. It looks quite nice with the UN, too.

Thank you, Andrew and Nik. I just have a feeling that the UN will really pop on that strap. However, I’m so in love with the bracelet on that watch that I’m reluctant to take it off.

I like that a lot, mostly because it's very flamboyant. I've considered similar from Two Stitch Straps for my CW.
I agree that it would be awesome on the UN. The lighter textured dial just soaks it up so well.

It definitely does.Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 7:50 pm ...I just have a feeling that the UN will really pop on that strap.
If it was straight up violet, I’d definitely agree that it’s flamboyant. If it’s blue that, depending on the light, can also look violet as AVO says, it’s something much cooler, something that’s flamboyant on the sly!Bungle-ator wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 8:17 pm I like that a lot, mostly because it's very flamboyant.

On the UN it looks like the type of watch Andy Warhol would have worn to Studio 54 in the company of Bianca Jagger and Diana Ross. I think that's high praise.

I like on both but think it really works well with the dial tone of the UN. Very cool and different yet stylish!
I applaud your taste sir.
I also like Des's Andy Warhol observation, I can picture it.

Re: Interesting new strap!
Top notch selection Steve.
As observed, very much on the violet side of blue, which will be great for the UN but might, to my mind, be to much of a contrast with the MeisterSinger.
I have a feeling more photos are required.

Re: Interesting new strap!
As previously observed stunning paired with the UN. In different lighting conditions, looking forward to seeing it with the MeisterSinger.
Very striking strap. Seems a day for left-field winners....

Re: Interesting new strap!
It very much looks violet in these pics. AVO posted another pic here where it reads bluer to me. Makes for a really interesting strap, as the title of this thread says!StrapMeister wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 8:34 pm that's blue
