Anyone got any tips for polishing these out and what products to use?

Depends on the finish of the clasp. Polished use Cape Cod or, if brushed, something like this Refinishing Pad.

Otherwise, very fine Emery Cloth. I have a small piece that is ages old and well used, such that it works by brushing and polishing at the same time.

Don't use Cape Cod on that unless you want it super shiny! If the hairline scratches bother you on that, you'll have to take the risk of using a fine scourer. It's a job that requires a little patience and practice? It's just a matter of very lightly brushing in the direction of the grain, as it were. Very easy to mess it up though.....!

Exactly my advice too.

Go really easy and gentle when brushing. You can always go a little harder if need be, but its a real pain to try and smooth out brush work that is too deep because you pressed too hard.

Good luck.

My Speedy's clasp is full of swirlies. Battle scars. I just wear it.

I'll try the eraser technique, if that don't work on reflection,it's something I can live with, judging on how ultimately I could end ruining the finish.

I use my wife's nail polishing pads. They are like superfine Emery and the buffer is similar feel to an Eraser.

Here's a clasp that had minor scuffs, just took the larger scuffs out, but a finer finish can be achieved, with more time.

It’s much easier to get it right if you put the green pad on a surface and brush the clasp firmly and slowly against the pad in the direction of the original brushing. You have way more control than trying to hold the clasp firmly while you brush it with the green pad. Be gentle at first, and if it’s not having the desired effect, increase the pressure gradually.
