Strapsco Omega style deployment clasp review

Post by ajax87 »

I picked up a couple of these omega style deployment clasps from strapsco recently.

I picked up a 20mm and 18mm at $24.95 apiece, and received a free basic leather strap and 15% off. Total order was about $42.

I’d say the clasp is worth $25, but no more than that. Decent finishing but nothing special. It does click in nicely and clasp solidly.

However, the 18mm had a defect as seen here:

I emailed strapsco and they had a new one in the mail for me within a few hours. Good customer service!

I threw the 20mm clasp on the CW orange tiber for my SC. I did have to bend the slot on the clasp out slightly as the Tiber is a pretty thick strap.

It fits me better with the clasp as opposed to the standard tang. I was on the last hole with the tang (small wrists), but on the 4th hole with the clasp. Overall, I’m happy! It feels good for the price.

Thanks Patrick! I didn’t think I’d like it as much as I do based on the website pics. But it’s an absolutely perfect color match and complement for this watch.
