Yes, it would involve removing two small screws... I have the tools, but worried they might be tightened with Loctite as was suggested by someone earlier
Exactly. I'm sure they've done it for that reason, otherwise just send me a replacement QR spring bar
Thanks for the heads up. I do have a full set of watch tools I bought from Amazon few years back, including the pin insertion/removal tool and the plastic block with all the slots and holes (sure it has a name ), which I've used a few times now to resize my bracelets... in fact, I'll be resizing the C65 SH21 bracelet tonight first anyway... or rather re-assigning the links from one side to the other to balance the clasp (as I've done with my others)
That's quite likely. Thinking about it, bracelets have a taper, so the removable links are generally a couple of mm narrower than the lug end. If they sent pins for the removable links they would be shorter, although the collar would be the same. One small issue was that the "spare" pins provided by CW were in fact too short (they seem to be the normal pins for other bracelet links! However, I was able to re-use the pin already in the original shoulder and all was fine
They don't... tried one and even with moderate considerable effort it wasn't turning, so I reckon it's glued down with something
