Ok, so that’s the movement guarantee. Must be something for other purchases, even 12 months guarantee? (I haven’t looked and am disinclined to at this hour!)

Can you post the outcome JCat? I’ve wondered myself what CW would do if a QR bracelet failed.

Hi mate,
Sorry to hear that.
It did happen to one of my C60 QR bracelets when it was a day old.
CW replaced the bracelet for me.

Hi Ferg. That's good to hear... they may consider 7 months to be within normal wear and tear, but as I'm still waiting an outcome on a missing COSC certificate (for the C8 PR) and now this, I'm sure we'll come to some suitable arrangement

I’d say that within one year you’re well within the ‘fitness for purpose’ and ‘of merchantable quality’ clauses mandatable by law. I’m sure CW will sort it.

Strangely enough, someone over on CWE (FB) has just posted exactly the same issue... will await CWs response.

Out of interest, if the QR pin fails, can you remove and replace the bracelet as you would do with any non-QR bracelet, or is the pin manufactured in a different way. Looking at mine (on a C65) it looks different,

I was able to remove and replace mine, but with one functioning pin.. If both were missing, then it would be tricky as the hole is very small and wouldn’t be able to use a standard spring bar tool :(

Ok, quick update... CW customer support have emailed me this afternoon and are sending me out a set of bracelet ends (shoulders) with spare QR pins, for me to fix the broken end. They said they would offer repair at their workshop but as it's closed this is a quicker solution, if I'm happy to try it myself

I'll update with how I get on...

That sounds like a great solution! Can you document the repair with some photos and share it with us?

It'll be easy. Pin and collar just like adjusting a bracelet for size. That is a great way to take care of it. Excellent on their part.
