CW Bracelet, new identification mark.
Not sure if this was mentioned before but I received a new bracelet for my C65 AM GT LE yesterday and I spotted something new.
On the face of the end link was engraved C65-41C denoting that it was for the C65 Chronograph model which is different to the regular 22mm C65 bracelet.
I think this is a great idea as you know firstly that you've received the correct bracelet from CW and also if you have a few similar bracelets, you know which is which.

That's brilliant. I've seen other manufacturers do it.
Is it on both end links, Ferg?

Re: CW Bracelet, new identification mark.
Good touch! I've just checked my C65 LE diver with the 'standard' QR bracelet and there are no marks at either end.
Re: CW Bracelet, new identification mark.
^^^ now I'm confused!
I've just checked my other QR bracelet for the C65 diver (non LE) vintage diver and it does have the C65-41 marked on it!
As far as I can tell it's exactly the same otherwise.

Rich I'd say they only started doing this recently so there is bound to be some out there with no markings on them.

The end links on the Diver vs Chronograph are marginally different.
I've got a post with photos from a couple of months ago which explains and illustrates this, which I will find and post here.
In essence the lugs on the Chronograph are taller, to match the thicker case, and the end links cater for this.

Re: CW Bracelet, new identification mark.
Think Rich is referring to his 2 bracelets being the same Guy. See both his posts above.
Useful little addition by CW.

^^^ Yes, I am (I think!).
I have the SH21 C65 LE Diver and C65 Vintage Diver both 41mm and both on bracelets, and they both fit equally on either watch head.
Based on this thread I've now seen that one has C65-41 on one of the bracelets, which, otherwise, I would never have noticed. In my case, it appears to make no difference to the fit of the bracelet.
I think also that 'C65' covers quite a few watches so there is room for legitmate confusion!

Re: CW Bracelet, new identification mark.
I noticed that my Super Compressor had it the other day. I quickly checked my other bracelets and no luck. My Super Compressor says C65-SC on both end links.

These are the two ends of my bracelets.
The same bracelet as far as I can tell but one with a code on.
There must be a list at HQ of which code for which watch?

Re: CW Bracelet, new identification mark.
I would think that anything with the standard light catcher 41 in the C65 range would get the C65-41. The Super Compressor and Chronos have modified cases so they would be called out as such. Just guessing. I don't have all of them to check. Anyone with a new C65 Chronograph? Pull the bracelet and look for the code!

Nice spot Ferg. It's simply a great idea from CW and something that is dead easy to do and helps minimize error. On our end, it saves labelling which bracelets in the strap box belong to which watches!
Small collection of timepieces that I enjoy
