Looking for advice from more learned fellows
I recently bought BerlinCW’s Alpina Alpiner 4. It’s a lovely thing on a high quality leather strap.
Mrs mik hid it away ‘til Christmas, so I am still very much in the honeymoon phase, but longer term it is always good to have an alternative look available...
I love my Strapcode SuperEngII on my C11, but with the design of the Alpina I would want proper curved ends as opposed to straight.
I like the genuine Alpina bracelet, but it’s £abitsilly compared to the price of a 2nd hand watch purchase, so this option is definitely out.
The Alpiner4 is a chunky 44mm diameter, so I thought one of the 44mm diameter Seiko options from Strapcode might fit (?) but that is based entirely on hope rather than knowledge.
Any ideas appreciated

Re: Bracelet advice for Alpina
This is going to be a difficult one because of the case curvature and spring bar hole positions.
I suspect it's going to be a bit hit and miss!
Having said that, an option that I have looked at in the past was purchasing a bracelet that you can get curved ends links for that match the bracelet from WatchGeko.

Re: Bracelet advice for Alpina
It always seems next to impossible to get get fitted bracelets or straps other than oem. The fittings have to take account of the curvature of the watch, and the location of the holes in the lugs.
What about mesh? Breitling show lots of their watches on mesh straps, and they never seem anything other than highly attractive to me.

Thanks guys.
And yes - a mesh (something like the WatchGecko one) could be an option.
Edit: with a quick google search - it looks like someone has been there before me....

Re: Bracelet advice for Alpina
I tried the C60 Mk3 bracelet on my Alpiner 4 and looks pretty good. There is a gap of a few mm between the case and top of the end links and they can move up and down a bit but the bracelet attaches securely to the case. Maybe something to try if you have one of these bracelets already.

Nordwulf - I don’t have a C60 or therefore a C60 bracelet
Jkbarnes - I agree! Just ordered a WatchGecko shark-mesh.
JAFO - thanks for the suggestion

I’m not a consistent fan of a mesh bracelet. On this particular watch I think it’s a perfect match! It looks wonderful, well done.

That's a great look
I have to say that it looks more of a chain-mail bracelet than a mesh thus giving it a more tactile look - I like it
(I'm guessing it's a Shark Mesh)

Yes - shark mesh.
And I’d agree wholeheartedly with JK that mesh can look awful with some watches. I’d also agree that this isn’t one of them .
