My flat link bracelet has found a surprise new home! Unsurprisingly, the end links aren’t perfectly flush, but they are just a fraction of a millimetre out. They look pretty good from the top, less so in profile.

Obviously the photograph's magnification emphasises the issue but I'd feel uncomfortable with the fitted end being proud of the plane of the lugs, Rich.

Being recessed is less noticeable and, I feel, a better option.

Overall though, a surprisingly good fit.

Is someone on commission here?
By golly that website is an effective sales tool - ordering things I hadn't quite realised that I need.

That comes as no surprise, as I wore my identical 65 on a spare Omega Seamaster 300 Pro bracelet for quite a long time. Fit was excellent, like a factory one. Along with the SMP Bond bracelet it’s been acknowledged as a great option for the 40mm 65, although one that few choose due to the price - the bracelet is priced at well over half the price of the Oris watch. The 9 link Bond was perhaps a wee bit too fussy, but I rather liked the tapered 5 link on it.

Okay, my Uncle Seiko bracelet has arrived and awaits sizing etc. Photos to follow.
