Forum FLE serial number reselection

Post by Kip »

I am posting this in 2 places so that hopefully I can cover all the bases.

Based on the reservations we have, Chris will be building 75 units of the 2011 FLE for the forum. There will be no additional production.

After much discussion and soul searching it has been decided that this is the best decision we can make for most everyone involved as well as posterity and accuracy.

Regrettably, 10 members must reselect from available numbers. The affected members, those who have initially chosen numbers from 76-100 inclusive, have all been sent emails with instructions. If you are one of them, please check your emails.

The sender is clubeagle@comcast.net and the subject is "CW Forum serial numbers" The instructions are as follows....

Available serial numbers are.....
34,38,43,44,48,50,51,52,54,56,58,59,60,61,62,68,71

All reselections will be done on a first come first served basis.

Please send your reselection to Wizziethewiz@christopherward.co.uk stating

FLE serial # reselect in the subject line.

Please give the following information.....
3 serial numbers in order of preference
your forum name
your email address

Your original selection #
Kip

Numbers not yet sent but will get round to it tomorrow. From what I recall from the chat with Chris, it looks like they may be ready for Sept and that there may be a few pre-production shots available in June. Can't wait.

Well, got me number 48 ordered - a special number to me which I hadn't thought about before. Looking at the details again, I am getting quite excited about this watch. Any news on pre production shots (as advised by Chris in the chat) yet Kip?

Still a bit early for photos. Probably mid to end of June if we get lucky. :)
