As it is a pre order you won't need to pay for it til october as far as i am aware. So will give you a while to save and means you won't be buying a 3rd within a fortnight
I'm working on that logic in my head!

I had exactly the same dilemma :) but it's my birthday in October so that sounds like the perfect excuse!

My e-mail went before the post... priorities :).

Must say that was the easiest decision I've made in a long time - all praise to The LE Committee for both the design (there's a dog somewhere missing his bollies) and the fact it was kept under wraps. Six or seven months to wait though. That's going to be hard.

Nice watch, indeed. But unfortunately too big for me. *sigh*
Nevertheless I wish all future owners a lot of pleasure with this time piece.

Now that is a seriously nice watch. A big thank you to the committee and CWL for their efforts in sorting this one out.

Needless to say the email has gone in.

bit rich for my blood chaps... with alligator this stands to be a £750 watch. Something inside me, just can't justify that for a CW watch, thats well into the price range for a standard automatic Longines and almost into base level omega territory.

Its a lovely looking piece though, i can appreciate that. Just not sure in 10 years time it would be worth anywhere near as much as if you invested in a more established brand. I know thats not the only reason for buying a watch, but resale value is always in the back of my head if i was spending that much cash.

So you'd better come up with a super stellar watch!
This is what I wrote when the comity idea was launched. I'd say mission accomplished beyond expectations!

I would have a problem getting used to a watch without a date indicator though but that is just a personal preference.

I'm close to pulling the trigger but the price is holding me back. If I could just convince myself that I would be getting 2 watches, the FLE2010 that never was and the FLE2011 it may just work :-)

It is a beautiful watch, but at that price, it's too rich for my blood. Maybe next time...

I have to say that this watch took a long while coming together and is quite different to what was originally anticipated in the deliberations. The price is not cheap but neither is it horrendous - I am seeing it as the same cost as two "normal" CWLs (in fact it is less than a C60 and C70, say) and for that I think I am happy to go for it. It will be a real classic, and the quality of the movements is extremely high - apparently Chris had an opportunity while on a business trip to Switzerland and went for it. There is no denying that this LE breaks new ground and is a unique watch which offers a modern twist on a classic style.

I bloody love it already! :D

Just hope that it looks good on my puny wrist! :?

Not what I was expecting or hoping for, but the committee came in with a beautifully strong watch in all respects! 8)

Roll on October! :D

Each of us will face this question at least once in a year.

"Why do you have so many watches? You can only wear one at a time!"

Beautiful watch and well done guys for doing something remarkably different from ther current range rather than a simple "homage" to a current model... Not sure its a £600 watch for me given the competition, so think I'll pass on the purchase however definitely think it's something to be admired and am sure that a lot of guys will get a lot of pleasure from owning it.

Congrats again on a great design.
