Re: For your consideration: C9 Unitas
The Seiko Monster's bracelet is wider than the lugs, it's notched down to fit the 20mm. For me it is more the strap size of 20/18mm that I don't like.ianblyth wrote:
Not sure why there is a big thing about 20mm lugs. The Seiko Monstor is 42mm with 20mm lugs and no-one complains about that. If the lugs look right with the case then I am not fussed about lug width unless it looks silly.
No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).

I have no problem with you playing with the drawings. In fact I welcome the ideas.downer wrote:At the risk of incurring the wrath of Kip and Hans (sorry guys), I have taken the liberty of modifying this mock-up a little - trying to tone it down some...
Btw...the blue was supposed to be the same as the C6 blue. It just didn't come across that way.

Thanks Kip and downer for the extra pictures.
Gold B for me, but think I may be lonely.

Same here, but I'd like to see what it would look like with silver numerals instead of gold.wilko wrote:downer,s blue version with applied numerals please.the others don,t really do owt for me.

Re: For your consideration: C9 Unitas
I think this is a really lovely, elegant looking dress watch. It looks original, not seen it anywhere else. I really like it. However, I sense that elegant is not what most Forum members are looking for in the FLE. Most seem to prefer a more masculine style. Nothing wrong with that but I already have the LE C6 and am looking for something different. Last year's LE was an absolute triumph IMHO and am looking for the same wow factor.downer wrote:At the risk of incurring the wrath of Kip and Hans (sorry guys), I have taken the liberty of modifying this mock-up a little - trying to tone it down some...

Re: For your consideration: C9 Unitas
I went for option a and b. I love blue hands on a silver/white face. With the single dial at the bottom it looks similar in style to the C1 although as I have only seen pictures of the C1 im not sure what size the C1 was. If its 44 in size with a 22 strap it will look in good proportion. I wasnt a fan of the blue and bronze face.
If it was option a or b with a white/silver face with blue hands and a 40mm case I think that would equal my ideal watch.
Im a massive fan of this watch but dont have the funds to finance it.
