Alright as far as it goes but DIver provides a positive image, "not" gives no image at all. Divers are very popular but if we had this option last year we might not have had the Lido LE, CWL's best watch ever imho.John W wrote:Maybe the starting point would be a vote for the basics
A) Diver or Not
B) Bracelet type / material etc
C) Face Colour
D) Automatic or quartz
E) chrono or not
etc.

Easy to fix, if it is to be based on a current model then one poll would be C1, C2, CetcGalton321 wrote:

Otherwise it could be based on style, divers style, pilot style etc

Was in a bit of a rush with my post but it could be
A) Classic/Dress; Dive; Aviation; Sport
As a starting point for the face and strap etc
I prefer Classic as I find some Dive to be OTT (not the CW ones - though not keen on the yellow face but that could be the photo)

Re: For your consideration: C60GMT
Christopher Ward has a whole section dedicated to aviation styled watches, why not something based around this great collection?
There are so many ideas out there that could suit loads of peoples tastes, it seems like with alot of these diver style watches the colours can be very garish and that the LE needs to be really bright?
How about:
42mm
Automatic or Manual
chrono function
Military esque- Could be based around, think Beitling Top time (circular dial) crossed with a Stowa/Hamilton Broad Arrow- little bit of vintage in there
100m water resistant
Blue/Black/Grey dial
Supplied with a leather strap and a Nato (Someone pointed out a Tudor watch with this set up elsewhere)
Dial markers could be bright, orange, light green etc?
How about that then????

Re: For your consideration: C60GMT
what ever it is i hope it is a CW design and not a copy of a 'high end' watch. this would really make CW stand out as a up and coming watch maker if they just stuck to making fantastic watches designed in house and then they would have a brand all of there own. copying watches just cheapens CW to me. Option a with a different face would be my choice. as people have mentioned they will not be able to please everyone but lets keep our fingers crossed.

Re: For your consideration: C60GMT
Love the C60 and very interested to see what the final LE looks like.
Voted for and very much like the bold colouring of option B. Under no circumstances could I buy option A (especially with my preference for a black leather strap). I'm a watch and a football fan, so the trident second hand and red colouring = Manchester Untied supporters club watch
Maybe CW could sell that one (right now) in their club shop or online store?

These Surrey lads are not Man U Fan, they're glory hunters, its also amazing how many life long Chelsea fan have come crawling out of the wood work in the past 5 years. But at least Liverpool don't have this problem anymore
There is a rule for picking your football club, when you're kid, you should take a map and ruler and find the nearest top flight club to where you live, and that's your club, if you weren't aware of the rule the time, I'm sorry, that's not excuse!

Re: For your consideration: C60GMT
Like it, lamppo.
I would add the proviso that family connections are an acceptable alternative - e.g. if your whole family is from, say, Preston (perish the thought) and you happened to be born (and possibly even live) in Norwich (not sure what you'd have done in a previous life to merit this combination, but nonetheless), I would find it very acceptable for you to support PNE.
It does irritate me how many life long Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal fans there are around here. The latter two I can just about tolerate (but it is pretty obvious what's going on), but the only reason for the number of Man Utd fans is glory hunting.
Mind you, we have a number of Liverpool supporters, so it can't just be that!
