I agree with you guys. A red bezel / black dial would be fine for me. Not convinced we need the GMT though. A regular auto with a display back would be ok. :)

A while ago I said I'd quite like a quartz Trident and I'm not too worried by the engine at the moment .

My Photoshop skills are extremely limited, so the colour ends up a bit flat. However, here's a couple of attempts..

I like this ! really ! If it was possible to have other hands, it would be perfect, for me (with sword type, or diver type of hands).
I don't like this "onion" so much...

That Grovanna is $450, ETA 2842-2, 300M etc, so I guess it competes. Never seen one though, so I don't know about real quality..

I agree the CW looks better, and importantly, has no cyclops!!

I think we could develop this idea further if enough people were interested...

Ok, fair enough.....I have heard of them but paid no particular attention to them.........very Rolexy tho!!

Maybe a new thread needs to be started with this as an option, with a few other colour combo's not already done perhaps???

Personally, I'd go for the red & black :D

Good enough for Steinhart - their Grovana made divers helped make their good reputation. The Grovana Coral Reef above is basically the came as the Steinhart Ocean-1. Steinhart used to sell an all-red version as well as the black dialed one.

Voted for A , but given a choice, black dial please, as I think it looks subtly classier and strangely enough will stand out more. 8)

I still think the C90 is the way forward and having read the earlier posts on the original LE Thread I'd plump for a C40 over any others. Cost should not be the only consideration. :o
C90 - perhaps with a "less exclusive" movement? I'd do that in a heartbeat (v tempted by the 90 anyway but...)
Can we form a "movement"? Geddit?
C90 the way forward. No one's taking any notice! Keep saying it until they do!!!
