What should be the basis for the new LE?
Tell us what you think should be the basis for the upcoming LE!
Re: What should be the basis for the new LE?
I went for the C8 case as I think it is one of the most versatile in the range, and it is large enough for a hand-wound movement...
Of the others, I avoided the chrono's, based on the feedback from the 2010 LE proposal (mainly due to price). I presume an LE will always be mechanical and mechanical chrono's are expensive..
My second choice would have been the Trident, but the C6 case is in danger of becoming ubiquitous, having been used for the 2008 LE, a couple of C60 LE's, the basis of the C600 and now the Trident/GMT.
I also really like the C3 case, and would love to see that without a chronograph at some point.

I voted for the Trident, but the C8 would be my 2nd choice
Chuck Norris doesn't wear a watch. HE decides what time it is !!

I voted for the trident. I am pretty sure that I want to buy one anyway, so that'd kill two birds with one card purchase.

I'm in with the Trident crowd on the basis I want one, so an LE would be even better.
I can see the argument for C8 case for a hand-wound, it woul dbe my second choice.

trident for me as it would slot nicely in among my watches with much less overlap than the other models
Re: What should be the basis for the new LE?
Problem with using the Trident as a basis for the LE is this:
The Trident will be coming to market later this year and it will be extremely hard to avoid buying one. In fact, many of us will not be able to resist.
This will happen at least 6 months before the LE is available, meaning when the LE is available, we will already have a Trident and therefore, may not want a Trident LE...
Crap explanation, but does anybody see my point?

Good point Richard...
I could be persuaded into a c70 grand prix if it were automatic (like a lot of the forum le's are... I.e. Auto versions of an existing quartz) and provided it was reasonably priced.
