I had originally voted for the Trident but changed to the C8. I would only buy a trident in teal or a very nice looking orange. As the colours will eventually be released I will wait for them. Would love a C1 dial in a C8 case with a Unitas movement. If this doesn't happen will buy the Steinhart Marine. Either way in reality whatever the final LE looks like will probably buy it. The Chrono 2010 would have ended up on my wrist even though it was a tad expensive for me and never had a thing for for chronographs. until i got a C40ianblyth wrote:Has anyone changed their vote from what they originally set?
What should be the basis for the new LE?

I think a trend is forming...
2 have changed their votes now but If 6 more will change their votes to the C8 it will be on top.
My ESP or Jungian Consciousness is telling me at least 6 of you want to change your votes.

I've changed my vote.
From C40 to Trident. I prefer the C40 but it's not going to win and I don't like the C8, so it's got to be the Trident.

Sticking to my original choice of the Trident.
Proud owner of a C8 - IPK "Black Hawk" (#90), a C5 - AKK (#747) - with black date wheel, a C40 - SKS (#281) and now a 2009 LE C20 (#62)

After contemplation I changed my vote to the Trident. The C8 has limitations but theandyfry wrote:Sticking to my original choice of the Trident.
Trident has potential.
I am curious to see what would happen with the Trident LE; it is a beautiful design.

Re: What should be the basis for the new LE?
The previous forum LE's were automatic versions of then quartz watches, which was a good move for most of the members of this forum. As the Trident is already an automatic I can see this just turning into an argument about dial and bezel colours which will not as stimulating as before.
No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).

a quartz version of an automatic?
And, no, I'm not just winding up (pun intended) Alphajet ("no more quartz") - I really would buy a C6 Trident.
But I'd want the second hand to hit the minute markers.

Another LE Diver?
I think there are far more original ideas.......
Should the Trident win, my interest will disappear.

Just a thought, but what about the C9 or C90?

Thought that idea was bined due to cost??andyg wrote:Just a thought, but what about the C9 or C90?
Re: What should be the basis for the new LE?
I like that thought, maybe somebody can extend the poll to reflect this option and we all can change our votes (again ). My main worry is the costs. For me the watch has to be very special if it is going to be above 450 pound.Just a thought, but what about the C9 or C90?
Re: What should be the basis for the new LE?
I'm inclined to agree with you. Obviously diver's watches are very popular, but they've really been done to death at the £350 - £450 price range. Hardly a week goes by without some new micro brand popping up somewhere on the net. I really want to like the Trident but to be honest I don't think it has the individuality of the C6.andyg wrote:Another LE Diver?

I think the best option would be a C8 or better still the C90, although at that price I'd be out of the running for one.
Just my two pennorth.
