I guess another idea along the same lines would be to have a special model positioned above, yet still part of , the regular lines, to use another automotive example, the 'M' cars of BMW each are recognisably part of a series yet stand apart.
Steinhart seem to be doing something similar with their 'premium line'

How about a C90 without the power reserve feature? Stunning design and would cost about 300 pounds.

I love the C90 but bit expensive for me and i dont see the point of a power reserve on an auto, manual wind maybe. so I would buy one as above

as has been previously noted many of us see more point to a power reserve on an auto than on a handwound....variety makes the world go round..or something like that :D

The point of a power reserve on an automatic is easy. By rights they really should be called semi- automatics as many people do not have enough wrist movement to always keep them running. When they take them off at night they run down and do not get enough activity during the day. The reserve allows you to see when you need to wind. It is strictly a lifestyle issue and not a problem with the watch when they stop.

I realise that. It is just when i wear an auto for a while they keep going but my manuals i forget to wind them. It is a personal thing and not a critic of the watch itself
Perhaps i just use a lot more wrist movement than others

so how about this one, without the swimmer, and with plain 2824 movement, with slimmer hands, and better still in black? :D

I like that very much. Personally I'd keep the hands as they are but make the lume on each of them much wider. I'd also keep it white and drop the GMT and the "swimmer" if that's what it's meant to be.

Couldn't manage the black, but I got rid of the GMT and the sperm. 8)

And may have ended up with a watch that looks a bit dull (imho). :)
