Christopher Ward SH21 Review

Post by theemaadhatter »

An in-depth look at Christopher Ward's SH21 movement. I provide background info on the SH21 and its development, a visual look at three watches housing the SH21, technical visuals and discussion of serial versus parallel double barrel mainsprings, and macro views of the SH21 and three watches. The watches include the C1 Morgan Aero 8, C1 Small Seconds, and C8 Power Reserve, all COSC Chronometers.

*My channel is me being me and my videos are comparatively longer than other reviews and content. If you are looking for a 5-minute recitation of specs with a thumbs up or down, plenty of other channels do that. Here you will find more in-depth conversation and explanations. Remember, the pause and fast forward buttons can assist in watching in smaller chunks or speeding things along if you desire.*

Has anyone repaired these outside of CW support? Wonder what a repair bill would look like, or if ppl would even take it on?

I doubt there is a single service or repair of one outside CW. How would you get parts?

Hopefully I'm not hijacking this thread but out of interest does the above cause concern to any owners of SH21 watches or put off potential buyers?
Or is the thought that this movement will continue to be supported by CW as a company either in their existing state or whatever may happen in the future so there's no worries when buying?
